We Remember Them

times heals the pain of grief
though the mourning never ends
heal thyself is my belief
gift of love time sends

Sunday services were focussed on remembering loved ones now passed, as it was All Souls Sunday.  I paraphrased what I learned, and wrote what I felt.  My sister's memory, as well as my mom and dad's, is always with me, but, as much as I hated hearing "Time heals all wounds", I really think time has assuaged the raw and sharp sorrow.

we will meet again
through curtain of mist o'er bridge
wondrous reunion

joyous times now past
meeting again in new love
to hold you once more

To me, squirrels are not pests - they are entertainers!  This guy/girl visits daily, and his/her incredible positions, balance, and resourcefulness are always delightful......
