Walls
my castle fell
a breached bridge once solid
opened my heart
[I finally figured out my linking issue - if you saw any of those weird characters posted rather than regular text, that was my attempt at a fix. A friend showed me what I was doing it wrong]

Power to the People
towering spinners
pinwheels of power
overlook my city
These 3 windmills are recent additions to our city skyline, although, not all residents here appreciate these beautiful and practical sculptures. They are the tallest in New England! And yes, I know they are wind-turbines and not actual wind-mills. They create electricity, but don't grind much grain! Not so lovely and quaint as those of Holland, but elegant nonetheless.

Joyful Moment
lone quiet joy
time stands still
soft cloud descends
I think as one 'matures', joyful times are not fireworks and huzzahs....Joy is often enjoyed in solitude and accompanied by a feeling of peace....
